About HVOF

High velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) is often applied to rough surfaces to resist abrasion and corrosion. An HVOF coat creates an incredibly hard surface on the substrate. With Aerofab’s HVOF coating services, you can take full advantage of your equipment’s capabilities. Our team is comprised of experts in thermal spray coatings, so you can expect a job well done every time.

What is HVOF Coating?

As a thermal spray coating, high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) is used to improve and restore an equipment’s surface properties and dimensions, extending the component’s life and enabling it to operate at extreme temperatures within harsh chemical environments. Common applications include doctor blades, turbine blades, diesel engines, aviation landing gear, and rollers.
